That is not an easy question. There are so many ways to use your amateur radio station. Most Hams start out with very little no matter what license they hold or what bands they use. The most important thing is to have a good clean signal at all time if possible, which means a good antenna system. Wheather you use a home made transmiter from a tin can and some components or a brand new top of the line rig, you can attain a good signal or you can fail to have a good signal on either depending on the antenna you choose. So if you have a hundred bucks to spend on a set up, spend $20 for the radio and $80 and what ever change you can scrape up on the antenna. (see the antenna page for plans for great home made antennas) All the other gadgets will come later on when you know better what you will need. Amateur Radio would not be much fun if someone came in and built your station. It would certainly save some frustration on your part but would not be much fun. That is why it is best to get your back up radio first. Just a decent radio for the bands you plan to work and focus more on a nice antenna system. You are likely to learn very quickly of some other items you need.
So Antenna is number one.
Coax and station ground should be one and a half.
Rig is number two.
A computer is very very handy in your station and is nesesary to run certain modes so it should be three.
